Wheatley - 24km - coffee, supermarket and washroom

Wheatley is a small town with a coffee shop, supermarket and a number of restaurants including a Subway. Our first suggested "on your own" lunch stop is at 65km. If you feel that you need to purchase a snack or snadwich to tide you over before then, Wheatley is the place to do it. The first half of today's ride is extremely rural with very limited facilities - including washrooms. A washroom can be found at the Wheatley Arena on the North side of the arena.

The GWTA shuttle will be on hand to refill your water bottles and provide a few snacks to tide you over until lunch!

Pardoville  Fruit Stand and bakery - 65km

Deer Run Golf Course Restaurant is our suggested " on your own" lunch stop . The restaurant is open to the public, very large and beautiful and the prices are very reasonable.

Delhaven's Fruit Market - 69km

Erieau - 81km - 2nd shuttle point

The beautiful little town of Erieau is a charming place to stop for lunch. There are 3 restaurants and a visit to Bayside Brewing is a must if you are a craft beer lover! Support vehicles will be parked in the beach parking lot.

Some participants will be staying overnight in Erieau at the Bayview Bliss cabins - your ride ends here for today. Don't worry the mileage that you miss today will be added on tomorrow!

As you leave Erieau , take care not to miss the turning for the trail which is by the Penny Farthing sculpture. Although this section of the trail is gravel it is worth the ride as it is so beautiful - especially the little bridge over the waterway.
