COIP Ceremony

Unveiling of 2 bronze plaques to commemorate completion of Expansion and Enhancement of Waterfront Trail and Greenway. The plaques will be installed at either end of the Waterfront Trail.

Pickering went all out for the reception in Petticoat Creek, which included a barbecue (sponsored by OPG)...

...and even massages to soothe the aching muscles!

The day closed out with remarks from Pickering City Councillor Jennifer O'Connell (above) who described Pickering's regeneration achievements and spoke about upcoming improvements to the western gateway. We also heard from former Pickering Mayor and current MPP Wayne Arthurs, as well as MP Mark Holland, Mayor Steve Parish of Ajax and John Shaw from OPG
