Unveiling of 2 bronze plaques to commemorate completion of Expansion and Enhancement of Waterfront Trail and Greenway. The plaques will be installed at either end of the Waterfront Trail.

The day closed out with remarks from Pickering City Councillor Jennifer O'Connell (above) who described Pickering's regeneration achievements and spoke about upcoming improvements to the western gateway. We also heard from former Pickering Mayor and current MPP Wayne Arthurs, as well as MP Mark Holland, Mayor Steve Parish of Ajax and John Shaw from OPG
