GREAT WATERFRONT TRAIL ADVENTURE TOUR – PARTNERS MEETINGS

In the November ezine, we announced that plans are underway for The Great Waterfront Trail Adventure (GWTA) - the first ever end-to-end tour of the Waterfront Trail, which will take place from July 4th-11th, 2008. Since then, we’ve received lots of great feedback from ezine subscribers and have already gotten offers from volunteers who want to help out with the event. Thanks again to everyone who emailed us with their comments.

The Trust is currently organizing a series of regional partners meetings to take place early in the new year around each of the eight days of the tour. We’ll be sure to keep you updated through the ezines on the developments that come out of these meetings.

If you have any questions or comments about the GWTA tour, please feel free to contact Ian Lobb at it@wrtrust.com or Petrina Tulissi at pt@wrtrust.com.

WATERFRONT REGENERATION TRUST’S 2007 ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Following our tradition, the Trust is very pleased to present our collective accomplishments for 2007. Thanks to your generous support, your leadership and commitment, every year brings us closer to a regenerated waterfront. We have made excellent progress on the priority programs you defined for the Waterfront Trail and Greenway. We would also like to take this time to thank our partners- suppliers who have provided the Trust with outstanding work and advice throughout the year --DunMap, Watermark and Fontasy have demonstrated their commitment to the important mission of revitalizing Lake Ontario’s waterfront. None of this work would be possible without our partners. Thank you for your continued participation in and support for the Waterfront Trail and we look forward to building on our successes in 2008.
