Once again this year, and back by popular demand, the 1000 Islands Kayaking Company is pleased to announce our plan to get you off your bikes and on the water instead of just beside it.  They are offering the opportunity to join in on a 2 hour (8 a.m. - 10 a.m.) kayak tour, Thursday, July 8, 2010, departing from the boat launch area at the Ivy Lea Campground located along the 1000 Islands Parkway for a leisurely tour on the St. Lawrence River among the beautiful 1000 Islands.  For the cost of $45.00 + HST / adult and $35.00 + HST / child <17, they will provide professional guides and all your necessary Coast Guard kayaking gear including a kayak, PFD, paddle, pump and tow rope.  To book your spot you must call them direct at 613-329-6265.  Ideally they would prefer at least 48 hours notice in order to process your booking and ensure that they have on hand the proper kayak according to your size and ability.
