Kingston to Johnstown- 113 km

Riders will continue to follow the St. Lawrence River east and visit communities rich in culture and natural attractions. Included in the day’s vistas are the 1000 Islands, which have been designated an UNSECO Biosphere Region, the St. Lawrence Islands National Park, one of Canada's first national parks, rolling country roads, and farmland. History buffs will also find a wealth of well-preserved historical buildings and heritage sites, while the waters in Kingston and Prescott contain a variety of preserved shipwrecks.

Rest Stop - Historic 1000 Islands Village
The charming historical buildings in the 1000 Islands Village will offer a respite for riders seeking a snack, water, and washrooms. There will also be an option to take part in some kayaking around the 1000 Islands area, which is an integral part of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve, a member of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves. Rest Stop - Ivy Lea
The 1000 Islands have been designated an UNSECO Biosphere Region, and riders will have another opportunity to stop, rest, and admire the region in Ivy Lea.

Lunch - Brown’s Bay Day use Area - TBC
The St. Lawrence Park Commision is organizing a lunch with sandwiches, fruit and snacks for $8. Enjoy the views of the lake in this scenic park while you rest up for the second part of the day.

Built in the style of the old hotels from the Golden Era, this building houses a number of exhibits and interactive displays designed to educate and entertain. Explore the War of 1812 and learn about local geography and wildlife.

Kayak Gananoque and Historic 1000 Islands
